Here is part one of Under the Graying Sea, which appeared in Asimov's in February, 2006. It's a novelette about a young woman and her father as she builds humanity's first interstellar wormhole.

The story's read in its entirety by Mur Lafferty, and she deserves a lot of credit for helping me pull together my first attempt at podcasting. Part one is 23:11 minutes long.
